Founder, Museum of Ours. President and organizer, Foundation of Ours.
I turned my home and private collection in Erbil into a place people could visit. Foundation of Ours built programs around the same history.
The project ran tours and temporary exhibitions from 2019 to 2022.
Creator and exhibition lead
A photograph of my grandmother kissing a woman opened a public conversation. I turned that response into a portable exhibition.
The photograph received 2.6 million views and 31,000 upvotes in one Reddit post.
